Took a dive, started on a whim, and ended up being one of the most incredible adventures I could have asked for – Happy 1st year anniversary to day in my dreams. The experience is beyond what I could ever have expected it to be, and you have made it that. Thank so much for supporting me from the very beginning through this first year. Your encouragement and inspirations have not only kept me blogging, but also brightened many days in my own personal life, like a close group of friends along for one of life’s many journeys. Having this opportunity to take something that is a passion and inner release for me, and being able to share that and interact with so many incredibly talented people, brands, and companies – is something I will be forever grateful for. Returned from Columbus after a week of trend work for fall 2016, and finally ready to cozy down into my own home for the next several days.Currently catching up on emails and inspirations. The soft rain piddling outside my windows is adding to the nostalgia… thick blankets, hot tea, and not a place to go or thing to do. It feels so good to be home. Going to be draped in some seriously off-duty styles for the next couple of weeks. Jeans, I’ve truly missed you. And something about holey ones makes me feel even more relaxed. As much as some sick part of me misses being able to sleep in my college dorm twin bed til noon, I’ve learned that the best mornings always start early. (Or maybe that’s just what I tell myself now that I can rarely keep myself still after my eyes peep open in the morning). Regardless, being able to enjoy the first of fall’s cool air shifting through my window screens over a hot cup of green tea…. that = happiness. Welcome to a look inside my home on one such morning.
