2017 fall trend fray hem jeans

fall fashion trend – fray hem jeans from ifchic

Remember my ifchic review from a couple years back? A lot has changed changed since then, but one thing that hasn’t is ifchic’s selection of key fashion pieces. I shared a few Instagram stories with you last week of my most recent unboxing, but in case you missed it – they’re a great shopping resource for designer fashion, and I’ve teamed up with them to share a review of my favorite pieces I just snagged from their store – fray hem jeans by Rachel Comey. Ifchic does a great job of not only being a resource for these key fashion staples, but also helping shoppers keep up with the latest fashion trends, with an editorial approach to retail. photography:KUNDAN KUMAR | camera:CANNON 5D MARK III | fray hem rachel comey jeans & theory t-shirt c/0:IFCHIC One of the hottest fashion trends of fall 2017, prepare to be dressed in distressed denim in the form of fray hem jeans. Fray hem jeans are taking over streetstyle fashion and wardrobes literally around the world. From inches of fringe-style …

3 ways to pick your weekday casual in a New York minute

Relaxed, sophisticated style. That pretty much sums up the ideal wardrobe situation for a girl on the go. But it’s not always easy looking effortlessly chic when you need to be dressed and out the door in 10 minutes. Balancing a full-time career as a creative director and managing a fashion blog on the side can be a challenge – especially when you try to squeeze world travel into the mix. I’d say I’m pretty happy with the balance I’ve found so far, but I’d be lying if I said I walk out the door every day feeling great about the outfit I grabbed. I mean loose jeans and a raggedy sweater from ’09? What was I thinking. I often try to share tips on work life balance as I know many of you understand the struggle is real. Here are a couple tips I incorporate into an (almost) fool proof recipe for fast, wardrobe grabs when you need to get out the door in a hurry and look fab all at the same time. …

one last romp

Fall’s chill is setting in. You can feel it even on the sunny days, a ghost hovering between you and those familiar summer rays. But alas, so many ravishing rompers and so little time… so I’ve stretched the season for one last romp of flashing legs and bare shoulders before they’re tucked away ’til next year. The romper that couldn’t be tucked away just yet – a gift from my babes at Premonition. Remind me I need to write a proper review on them at some point. My closet is literally filled with their pieces, and they’re my first thought when looking for something that’s high fashion, reeks of good design, and yet somehow manages to be perfectly understandable and attainable to a general audience. They’re literally the Mecca for my occasion wear style. I wore a beaded dress from their new collection to WWDMagic (shhh… it’s not out yet) and I can’t tell you how many people inquired on the dress. Stay tuned and I’ll be sure to show you a glimpse of that …

luxury streetstyle blogger

knot dress and luxury streetstyle

Too in love with this dress gifted from Too Damn Expensive to not write a blog post about it. If you caught the IG post, you know it’s one of my favorite looks of the season. Knotted everything is so on point for a fresh take on deconstructed basics. From knot-back sweaters to knotted slides, this twisted classic has been flooding streetstyle looks starting from spring and moving heavily into fall. What’s great about the trend? It’s completely fresh, but totally wearable so you’re not screaming “oh, that girl must be in fashion.” It’s edgy, but still wearable for a night out or day in the office. photography:KUNDAN KUMAR | camera:CANNON 5D MARK III | dress c/o:TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE | luxury tote:GIVENCHY | shoes c/o:SHOES OF PREY | sunnies:RAYBAN In regards to this dress in particular, the look is also extremely versatile. You can choose to leave the straps tied or untied for a more relaxed fit. Looking for an even more dramatic update? You can knot the bottom of the hem with the side panels …

blogger day in my dreams wears a cotton dress from grana

three ways to wear cotton dresses with Grana

So in my last blog post, we talked about the little white dress creeping up on the trend board with the classic lbd. But to be fair, the conclusion was less than decisive, and black continues to dominate my wardrobe with white being a close runner up. In this episode, we’ll pay tribute to that classic thing that we all love and adore, the little black dress: the cotton edition with Grana. From ultra comfy-casual to a night out on the town, here are three ways to style that oh-so-comfy lineup of black cotton dresses in your wardrobe. photography:KUNDAN KUMAR | camera:CANNON 5D MARK III | black cotton dresses c/o:GRANA Style number one: super casual in a black cotton maxi dress Nothing says relaxed summer afternoon like a black cotton maxi dress. They’re classic, comfortable and chic, and perfect for a variety of activities. This dress by Grana is beautifully fitted and has a side slit and slight racerfront design for a casual-sexy twist. For this first look, you can easily achieve a super-casual summer style. …
