dancing in the light

March has finally made its arrival, and with it signs of spring – creating a perma-smile and thoughts of dancing in the sun light.

Outerwear is shifting to the lighter fair, and I’ve found myself taking daring glances towards my summer attire. All things light, flowing, and white are beckoning me, and finally I gave way to this airy shirtdress and contrast pumps. Still a bit chilly, but for my mini excursion it actually suited quite well. The effortlessness of a shirtdress always appeals to me – slip it on and you’re usually good to go with no fuss. I actually toyed pairing this one with thigh-high boots and a jacket (perhaps more seasonally appropriate) but couldn’t resist a good A’Gaci pump.#AgaciGirl

New rose gold timepiece is from Fjord (I know you were eyeing it). One of the very first brands I featured, and still going strong (seriously in love with every piece). Their Scandinavian inspired designs are ideal for a minimalist approach, and materials and craftsmanship have always been exceptional. Here’s a bit of a flashback with a few of my favorite posts featuring their styles!

Sport White with the Bolle | India with the Ursa | Shirtdress with the Finn

Pushing for that rose accent, Finlay & Co is my go-to for sunnies, and these are my favorite of the season. They felt like the right match for a monochrome offset. A shirtdress can easily play off many trends. Western with boots, minimal with loafers, or in this case a hodgepodge contrast of everything, with a modern sunnies twist. #BeYourself – everyone else is taken.

Happy March, and hope you’re somewhere enjoying the sun. If not, it’s just around the corner – hang in there. xoxo

  2. Yessss! Love this sheer dress, it looks like if you’re wearing a cloud that barely reveals your Amazing body! And from this cloud magically ten little drops have become your fab nail polish! In the end those wonderful nude sandals are an authentic touch of style and class! So, although it’s still winter, welcome back Summer – sorry – Kristina!!!
Happy end of winter hun! Enjoy the sun!

This is absolutely brilliant! Your photographer has captured not only the concept behind the shoot, but gives a tutorial on how to express a depth of subtlety that may otherwise have been lost. I have to say that I am new here and have been going through it as a sort of retrospective, and while they are all really well done, this shoot stands out as being far and above them all…so far.
