contrast sheath dress

crossing the line

from chaotic to more chaotic – this week has been a rollercoaster of events, and I’m happily unwinding with a schedule that’s busy – but no longer excruciatingly so. Here’s wishing you enjoyed a truly relaxing holiday weekend. Did enjoy a bit of sun and some poolside moments so life continues to be a happily orchestrated journey. Thought of the week… (yeah, got nothin) Let’s keep this short and sweet. Summer has arrived! (more or less), and busy summer schedule = no time for wardrobe planning. Perfect time to snatch a sheath dress from the closet and pair it with some killer boots. It’s a no-brainer fashion solution that has yet to fail. So here’s the scoop on the look. photography:KUNDAN KUMAR | camera:CANNON 5D MARK III | contrast sheath dress c/o:THE RUSHING HOUR (use code: dayinmydreams30 for 30% off!) | cut-out boots c/o:WINDSOR SMITH | statement earrings c/o:EVERY MONDAY | knot cuff c/o:LUXE BLOGGER | leather bag c/o:WANDERER WANDERER | timepiece c/o:DANIEL WELLINGTON | stack rings c/o:EVERY MONDAY   First off, if you read my post about …

dark in white

There’s hardly a moment in life that goes by without the slightest mix of emotions. I know I ordered chocolate ice cream, but that black cherry swirl is looking pretty good… I do like these shoes, I’m just wondering if I should have worn flats… all white, or black bag… yeah I do feel like going out tonight, but Netflix and chill is sounding pretty alright as well… you get the drift. When there are so many beautiful futures in our horizon, it’s sometimes difficult to choose the “right” path. (and yes, I’m assuming all futures are beautiful at this point). As my brother has said, “In my life, every day is a holiday, and every meal is a feast.” I’m a pretty indecisive person by nature. This was not one of those days. Feeling firmly confident in the day’s choices both in wardrobe and life choices in general – I went out the door running forward with guns blazing. All sweetly white from Salient Label with Public Desire dark black strap pumps to offset …

dancing in the light

March has finally made its arrival, and with it signs of spring – creating a perma-smile and thoughts of dancing in the sun light. Outerwear is shifting to the lighter fair, and I’ve found myself taking daring glances towards my summer attire. All things light, flowing, and white are beckoning me, and finally I gave way to this airy shirtdress and contrast pumps. Still a bit chilly, but for my mini excursion it actually suited quite well. The effortlessness of a shirtdress always appeals to me – slip it on and you’re usually good to go with no fuss. I actually toyed pairing this one with thigh-high boots and a jacket (perhaps more seasonally appropriate) but couldn’t resist a good A’Gaci pump.#AgaciGirl photography:KUNDAN KUMAR | camera:CANNON 5D MARK III | shirtdress c/o:AGACI | pumps c/o:AGACI | hat:BRIXTON | sunnies c/o:FINLAY & CO | timepiece c/o:FJORD | rosegold ring c/o:THE PEACH BOX New rose gold timepiece is from Fjord (I know you were eyeing it). confident

Demi Lovato’s “Confident” stuck in my head. Holy girl-power… if that’s not enough to get you strutting your stuff this weekend, not sure what will. The past week has been spent in mindful debate over a new direction in my working carrier. When you come to a crux in life, it can be difficult to be confident that, (within the rush of emotions and opportunities) the decision you make will be the best one. But more than right or wrong, it’s most important that when you do make the choice, you stick to it with guns blazing. No one can predict the future, but you can wield the direction of the day with your choices. So here’s to being confident that today will be your day, and you will live it boldly. photography:KUNDAN KUMAR | camera:NIKON D90 | silk blouse:VINCE | skirt c/o:DIARIO DE UNA COUTURIER | luggage set:TUMI | shoes c/o:CLARKS | stack rings c/o:K D’ANGELO With a fresh working mindset – and this totally beautiful new luggage set gifted to me by a good friend Manish, the feeling of …

light and night

Playing with contrast. Two things contradicting each other, yet existing side by side can be a truly beautiful thing. They say opposites attract. While I can’t always agree with that, there is something to be said for differences making everything a bit more interesting. Without one side, how could you truly appreciate the other? If you want to see the whole bunch and caboodle side by side, go to New York. There isn’t a type of person there you won’t find. And in fact… I love it. These pointed boots from Clarks have quickly become one of the most worn pairs in my wardrobe (and trust me, that’s saying a lot). where we go

Our world is forever moving, and the places it takes us are a mixture of beauty, excitement, sadness, joy, and the unexpected. Life wouldn’t balance without a little of each. I find it best to accept all with a sort of reverence to the bigger picture, which our minds are so often incapable of comprehending in the moment.  This week has been a blur of each, as I say goodbye to two of my dearest friends. (no, they didn’t die). Their lives are taking them on beautiful adventures! And I couldn’t be more excited for the new opportunities they’ll experience with a change in work and new surroundings. So proud of you guys… but seriously… did you both have to leave in opposite directions in the same flippin week?? #youleftmeallalone jk I’ll be visiting soon. And to my friends that remain, I’m sorry but you’ll be experiencing an increased dose of me in weeks to follow. With the addition of fall setting in, I’ll be searching for life’s little comforts. On the east coast, it’s been sunny and 75 …
