Currently in NYC writing from the bed of my Airbnb – just finished the most amazing salmon dinner and draft IPA, reaching for blankets and anything cozy within reach.
And what could be more cozy than one of my favorite trends this season, which is all things knit – namely the more untraditional pieces like double knit sets, knit dresses, knit pants (you get the idea). Effortlessly chic, and comfy as sweats, what’s not to love. So as you can imagine, this set from StyleWe is heaven for me. I actually wore the bottom half to an NYC Fashion Week cocktail party, paired with a variant knit sleeveless crop. It ended up being the perfect combo for the night (good thing since I spent 2 hours picking it out) Shooting myself for not getting photos!
Which reminds me, have any of you seen this Instagram Husbands video? Some blogger friends played it for me over the weekend and I was literally dying in fits of laughter. I shared it with my boyfriend and he was less than amused to say the least (I think it hit too close to home). At any rate, if you ever struggle with finding a photographer for your blog or Instagram – watch it. Then tell me how long you were in tears laughing.
Also rocking an ultra luxe leather bag from Eleven. They’re an upcoming brand, and if you haven’t heard of them, you’ll want to head that way. When I say butter, I mean the softness of this bucket bag. Seriously, I don’t know if I like to touch it or wear it better. And it was a perfect monochrome texture offset for the knit dress set.

What are your thoughts on knit dresses and knit sets for the winter and transitional seasons?
