Summer’s long gone and the craving for cozy has already started to set in. Chili has been on the menu twice this week, and evenings become a race to get home before dark. The moon that used to look friendly and cool has darkened to a cold foreboding stare. In search for the little comforts in life, we find ourselves groping for anything that has brought us relief in years past. Thick socks, riding boots, and dare I say… pumpkin spice latte. Days are getting longer and the earth is beginning to tease with expressions of spring. I’ve spotted a few early adopters in form of budding branches this week. Those cheeky devils. Not quite the time to change out wardrobes yet, but it’s enough to give a girl the itch. I’ve been on the same pace as the buds, pushing my limits and reaching for the lighter half hanging in my closet in shades of whites, nudes, blush, and greys. And what could be more cozy than one of my favorite trends this season, which is all things knit – namely the more untraditional pieces like double knit sets, knit dresses, knit pants (you get the idea). Effortlessly chic, and comfy as sweats, what’s not to love. So as you can imagine, this set from StyleWe is heaven for me.
