The holiday weekend is upon us! Headed to Wisconsin to see the fam for the weekend. Road-tripping it with two monstrous dogs in the backseat… wish me luck. Note to self, don’t wear black. Or leggings. Or anything else comfortable for that matter, since somehow “comfy” = world-shifting force magnet for dog hair. #itsgonnabealongtrip #ineedlintrollers
Also, not going to be so warm up north, so I’m enjoying this record sun to the max while for my last days in VA for the week. Not often you can wear skirts and scarves in a Virginia winter, but I’ll take it!
Huge fan of lace-up shoes, and these little shooties are a total steal with Traffic Shoe’s sale, buy 1 get one for $1. Word of advise for when to splurge or steal: for timeless pieces (scarves, knits, quality basics, etc) go big or go home. They’ll be in your closet for years to come, so make the investment. For this season’s “it” trends (let’s be real, there are going to be a lot of them) take advantage of the steal to get in on what’s going on, without braking the bank. Money doesn’t grow on trees. Trust me. I’ve tried. Those damn quarters are still buried in my backyard somewhere.
Rest of the deets: jewelries from Aeroculata and US made No Weekends, with a side of my favorite sultry nail laquer from Intensae. And yes, there is a sparkle in my scarf. Don’t judge. It’s the holidays. We’re allowed an extra glass of bubbly and glittery gaudiness this time of year. #cheers Happiest of holidays to all of you, and don’t forget the reason for the season. #thankful
