when i go

Back to the big apple for FFaNY, and it’s snowing. again. I’m fairly certain the shoe gods plan this particular feb event in coordinance with the most horrid weather days possible. Curse you shoe gods! One day, I’ll remember to pack snow boots.

oh that’s right it’s a shoe show… so I’m not allowed to wear snow boots…. or any boots… <angry face emoji>

Ah yes bliss. And there is more at stake than my frostbit piggies, with flights delayed or canceled, bad weather also makes for a slower-than-normal shoe show. WWDMagic show in Vegas is sounding better and better! (note: too bad I missed that show due to more snow. and two canceled flights). Dear shoe gods, where did I go wrong.

Ok done whining. In all reality it was a fantastic trip, and thoroughly productive for myself and co-pals, and I’m getting SO pumped about the fall 2015 line of shoes. Plus we even had the luxury of having a few moments to ourselves to stroll around in the city… before I lost all feeling in my toes.

About the clothes, I usually pack light so one super-oversized coat covered pretty much everything I wore this week. #winterfashion

Travel essentials. Work travel mode is a mix of flights, road trips, and ships by seaside. (ok, I lied on that last one) For NYC I prefer train. There is something to be said about 7 hours of absolute stillness. Currently jamming to “Go” by Grimes. And by jamming I mean obsessing on repeat. Check her out here.

  1. Oh even on work mode you look so spectacular Kristina! Never cease to amaze me with your cool style and amazing photography :). And yes, I like to pack light too when I travel and I think you brought up a really good point about a stylish and comfy coat! Duly noted! I wish you well in your travels and stay warm in NYC! Have a great rest of your week hun :) xo~ Lena

    • ugh yes… cannot WAIT until summer. this lady was made for 80 degrees and sunny. you’re lucky guys have it so much easier…. 90% of your shoes get to be worn flat and with socks! and socks actually get to be stylish for you! (like your pop of red on the escalator post… killin it!)

      • Ha ha, well spring is coming so it won’t be long. I’m personally not a sock fan, I prefer to rock the no sock. But sometimes it’s just not appropriate. Glad you noticed the socks on the other post. What a good eye you have!
