AllSaints. Can I get a heck yes from you rebel babes? Yes, I did get to work with this marvelous brand, and here’s the inside scoop on their leather biker collection, NYC influencer event and working with the team.

AllSaints Biker Portraits campaign had to be on of the most exciting collaborations ’til date. Being forever a groupie, working with them was an opportunity of a lifetime. The campaign embodied the free spirit and rebel mantra that avid supporters love about the brand. Biker Portraits is about expressing individuality, freedom and all that is fierce in fashion. Freedom is power, and embracing yourself for who you are is one of the greatest powers on earth.

There are no limits, only challenges – and rising to meet life full-face is a lifestyle I choose to forever pursue.

Biker Portraits is about more than just fashion. It’s about empowering those individuals who are ready to take that stance, and shout it to the world that they are who they are – and proud of it. They call us rebels. I call us souls of flight and freedom. In that spirit, All Saints selected a group of individuals to represent their mantra and iconic leather biker jackets in the Biker Portraits campaign.

Highlighting their fall/winter leather biker jacket collection, my poison of choice was the Balfern. The Balfern is the essential biker jacket, and I pretty much lost it in excitement when it arrived. The leather is butter smooth, contrasted by heavy metal hardware. The fit has a mid-snugness which is ideal to wear over T’s or lightweight sweaters in the cooler season. I spoke with some of the specialists at the AllSaints store in Meatpacking District NYC, advising to go for fitted as the leather is so supple it loosens over wear.

An iconic biker jacket is one of my most valuable wardrobe essentials, and get’s the heaviest rotation of any of my pieces. It can be worn year-round, and layers perfectly over anything from tanks and T’s to knits and evening wear. When the cold is too unbearable, layering a heavy wool overcoat draped over the shoulders of a biker jacket adds a chic, unexpected edge to winter wear. They are an understated statement and effortlessly sexy. Work with a T or cutoff and some distressed denim – they’re the perfect casual layer adding the right amount of edge to weekend street style. Over a cocktail or evening gown, a biker jacket reminds everyone that while you may be sweet and beautiful on the outside, there’s something fierce radiating from within.

biker jacket event

In celebration of the campaign, AllSaints hosted a night out where babes and boys could browse all of the AllSaints glory with champagne in hand at their SoHo flagship store on Broadway NYC. The event was studded with influencers, All Saint’s crew members and marketing teams, PR representatives and of course – plenty of photographers documenting the night out. I attended with fellow blogger and good friend Ivana from @ivanakorda. A few camera flashes and several glasses of bubbly passed, we flitted the night away with the totally bomb AllSaints teams. Working with the PR and Marketing teams was incredible, partying with them was even better. We stayed with the very last enjoying the pomp and pleasure of a night out in the city.

Being in the blogosphere for just at two years, the opportunities I’ve been given have been incredible so far, and I look forward to taking you all along on future journeys. Thank you All Saints for reminding us to be fearless and fierce. Never try to be like someone else – only the best version of yourself. Here’s to AllSaints iconic leather biker jackets, and to individuality and freedom of all. #AllSaints #BikerPortraits
