Many of you are fully aware of my watch obsession, and Charlize is one brand of minimalist watches which I own not one or two styles – but several. So in honor (more like dread) of daylight savings time today, I thought it only appropriate to post one of the most beautiful ways to tell the time. (though let’s be real – I use my phone for that… watches are for decoration right?).
The time change hit softly for me this year, spending the hour in an Airbnb for a weekend in NY with not a place to go or thing to do other than cater to my lazy whims.
Spending the first hours of the morning delved into the blog, and likely spending the other half with croissant and mimosa in hand. In the mean time, here’s an inside look at Charlize’s minimalist watch collection. I find the pieces to be simple and chic, with a straightforward approach to minimal design. Faces and bands are consistent throughout the entire collection, with variance seen in the color combinations. The basic band colors are black, white, and brown – and are available in gold or silver frames, with black or white faces. This color-blocking is quite nice if you’re looking for a an accessory piece for a specific outfit – or for a couple of pieces that match just about everything.
Excuse the repeat all white jeans on high rotation… they’re just so stretchy.

My favorite of their array of colors: silver and gold on white (did you suspect any other?) All white is almost overtaking black in my closet (…almost) and forecasted to be one of the most worn colors of the warmer season. What’s your go-to color for minimalist watches?
