There’s hardly a moment in life that goes by without the slightest mix of emotions. I know I ordered chocolate ice cream, but that black cherry swirl is looking pretty good… I do like these shoes, I’m just wondering if I should have worn flats… all white, or black bag… yeah I do feel like going out tonight, but Netflix and chill is sounding pretty alright as well… you get the drift. When there are so many beautiful futures in our horizon, it’s sometimes difficult to choose the “right” path. (and yes, I’m assuming all futures are beautiful at this point). As my brother has said, “In my life, every day is a holiday, and every meal is a feast.” I’m a pretty indecisive person by nature. This was not one of those days. Sitting and contemplating today’s topic of conversation. Somehow my mind isn’t pulling any specific thoughts together, which I think just might be a good thing. Not that I’m condoning mindless leisure, but really – we all need a mental break sometimes.  And honestly, it feels absolutely lovely. There is something beautiful in the quiet stillness of this moment. As if the entire world has gone blank… in a new, fresh sort of way. Apparently correlating fashion into my demeanor with a similar blank canvas. Discovered CYEOMS as a great source of unisex basics, and dressed this shirtdress understated with milky white essentials. The cotton is super soft, and I like having the option of wearing it as either a dress or shirt. Took a dive, started on a whim, and ended up being one of the most incredible adventures I could have asked for – Happy 1st year anniversary to day in my dreams. The experience is beyond what I could ever have expected it to be, and you have made it that. Thank so much for supporting me from the very beginning through this first year. Your encouragement and inspirations have not only kept me blogging, but also brightened many days in my own personal life, like a close group of friends along for one of life’s many journeys. Having this opportunity to take something that is a passion and inner release for me, and being able to share that and interact with so many incredibly talented people, brands, and companies – is something I will be forever grateful for. Wisconsin bound, making the most of my 45 min interval of free internet at the gate, compliments of American Airlines. A genuine thank you for the access… but seriously… with as many times as I’ve been canceled and delayed for hours (literally every time I fly with you), 45 minutes is all you got for me? #whereisthelove Cranky you say?? I had to be up at 3:30am to catch this flight, and my morning tea bag sunk into the bottom of my cup so all I’m drinking is hot water. Happy Friday followers. I don’t know about you but I was ready to make a dash out of the office no sooner than I had arrived. And apparently this ootd is just perfect to do so. I got asked twice at work if I was on my way out for a quick run. Which means I take sports influence way too seriously, or maybe it just really hasn’t caught on in this tiny town in Virginia yet.
