Look I get it, I’m a consumer too. And let’s be honest, the internet makes it rough. Don’t get me wrong, I love shopping online, but sometimes that ‘nude’ sweater you got on final sale turns out to be hot pink, and so not what you were looking for. If you’re in the market to discover some cool new brands or just want to know how that sweater actually looks and feels in real life, you’ve come to the right place. Here are some product reviews that give you insight into quality, functionality and beauty from a shopaholic’s perspective.

strangely familiar and ultimately soothing – Replica’s Bubble Bath perfume review

There’s something about a scent that evokes feelings – nostalgia, intrigue, relaxation. Finding the perfect scent sets the mood and aura of your day. If you’ve followed along on Day in my Dreams, you know I’ve been a cult follower of the Maison Margiela Replica fragrances.  For this review, I’ll be sharing the mood of one of Replica’s newest and perhaps most soothing fragrances, Bubble Bath.  Intro to Maison Margiela’s Replica fragrances Maison Margiela formulates more than just recipes for intriguing olfactory notes. Their Replica fragrance collection is forged to evoke fond memories and the nostalgia of cherished moments.  I recently shared a review of Replica fragrance Springtime in a Park, doing my best to indulge your senses in the Maison Margiela experience. Springtime in a Park is all about the gentle light and fresh floral atmosphere of the first days of spring.  Each of the Replica fragrances adopts a life of its own. If you’re not sure where to get started, you can discover a few of my favorite Replica perfumes to get a …

BLAQ face mask review – really grippy, weirdly sexy

I admit I was skeptical. The beauty industry is flooded with “innovative” brands – very few of which are truly doing something unique or worth mentioning. After trying the minimally packaged beauty brand for myself, I was immediately inspired to write a review of the BLAQ Activated Charcoal Face Mask.  Here’s what really made the BLAQ face mask stand out: The packaging is sleek and minimal – it garnered my immediate interest Their products are made with charcoal – a more natural way to detoxify the skin The mask is really, really grippy – think of it like a nose strip, but for your whole face. Hello clean pores. It’s weirdly sexy – instead of the face of horror, my husband reacted with surprise intrigue… “it’s like an all over latex thing” A week later, my skin still feels amazing – like notably, butter smooth. And my pores seem nearly invisible since my mask treatment. How I discovered BLAQ beauty products Here’s how it all started. Last week, I was introduced to BLAQ beauty through …

finally a mascara worth rebuying | bite upswing mascara review

The dark, soul piercing stare broken only by the soft beating of luscious eye lashes – that natural wing from the perfect curl fanning out towards the tips of perfectly manicured eyebrows. Lashes captivate us. Mascara, not so much.  After being underwhelmed by mascara since the not-really-that great pink cover girl tube, I knew it was time to find a new love. Yet, tube after tube was thrown away in bitter disappointment. They clumped, the made your eyelashes fall out, they left panda circles under your eyes by 5pm, or they just didn’t really do anything at all. When Bite Beauty sent me one of their first types of Upswing full-volume mascara, I was skeptical to say the least. No doubt they are masters of lip scrubs, liners, glosses and lipsticks alike. And they’r’e made with clean, natural ingredients we can all trust.  But what does a lip beauty brand know about mascara?  Needless to say, it took me weeks before I even bothered to give it a try. But alas, after my most recent …

I’m ditching my old sweats for Los Angeles Apparel

November has arrived, and with it that chill that seeps into your bones and steals away every semblance of summer’s past comforts. Thankfully, I’ve found my new live-in uniform thanks to Los Angeles Apparel. I’ve spent more than I care to admit on the hunt for the perfect sweatpants – all in vain. The material is always wrong, scratchy or too thin. Or the elastic so tight my feet loose feeling within moments. The fit’s not right, they collect lint like cheap velvet. I’ve even made the investment on some luxury brand sweatshirts on my quest – to find that my oversize sweatshirt was actually so heavy (and not soft) that my shoulders were ablaze by the end of the day. I’ve also tried Amazon Basics, some pop-culture retail boutiques, you name it. When Los Angeles Apparel reached out and offered me some pieces from their collection, my past experience made me a sceptic – to say the least. However with no obligations asked, I decided to give them a try. I can’t tell you how …

best maison margiela replica fragrance (I’ve tried all of them)

There’s just something about finding the perfect fragrance to suit your mood. It’s like a little hint of luxury that everyone can afford. Just like fashion, it sets a tone, evokes memories, and inspires moments. I’m quite fairly obsessed with the Maison Margiela Replica fragrances. Having my first taste for the brand back in 2019, I’ve since shared reviews of some of my favorite fragrances, stories of my pup Naizak rolling in her favorite scents, as well as recommended Maison Margiela replica fragrances in multiple luxury gift guides. Beyond that, the cult following has spread to my closest circle of friends, who have often commented and converted to Replica scents as their own favorites. But what is the best Replica scent?  After several messages of inquiry I’ve received both personally and through the blog, I’ve decided to share this replica perfume review to briefly cover some of the finer notes of each of my personal favorites, and what you can expect to experience if you opt for a Replica perfume of your own. Maison Margiela’s …
