Stacks of unused products, makeup dust in every bathroom drawer, mistaken days roaming the streets with a glare too severe, powdery finish or some yellow twinge you can’t wash off…a blank stare in the cosmetic isle. We’ve all been there. The hunt for the perfect highlighter. But I have some fantastic news, your search (and mine as well) is finally over.

In truth, I’m not a beauty blogger by trade. I rarely post makeup selfies, focus on style and would consider myself more of a travel or fashion blogger. However when I do stumble across a product that’s this good, I simply cannot resist sharing. So is the case with trèStiQue.

I’ve received a couple favorite products from trèStiQue including this lovely bundle shown below. My absolute favorites: the highlighter and eyebrow crayon.

The whole collection is a sort of two-for-one concept with a couple applications on either side.

One one side a highlighter, the other a blotter sponge. On one side an eyebrow crayon, the other an eyebrow gel. And less tubes needed in my carry bag, the better. But the versatility isn’t the best part of these products. Here’s the scoop.

the highlighter

I have looked high and low for the best highlighter and have come up so empty handed. Here’s what I like about the trèStiQue highlight stick. The application tip is about a quarter-size sphere which goes on smooth to areas like the cheekbones and T-zone. You can blend the highlighter with the sponge on the other side. What I love about it, it has the most faint blush tint, but shows up completely neutral on the skin.

No glitter, no sparkles. Just glow.

It blends flawlessly with bare skin, powder or foundation, and doesn’t crease after all-day-wear. In fact I love it so much – I encouraged my girlfriends to give it a try. Their reviews, raving. I’ve created a couple new cult followers besides myself, and for me, it’s been added to my list of must-haves at all times. It’s gives less of a shine, and more of a natural, dewy finish in all the right places.

the brow crayon

My second favorite product (used on the daily) is the brow crayon.

Previously using a powder, I’ve found the crayon is the perfect comprise between precise lines and natural color.

If you follow my Insta and have seen my mug in the past several weeks, I can guarantee this is what is keeping my brows filled, plush and trim. It’s easy to apply, and the angled applicator tip is oblong to easily mimic natural brow strokes. I use an angled brush to blend the edges. What makes it so different, it’s softer than a typical pencil so it doesn’t leave harsh lines, but you have more control than with powder so you can get that beauty blogger glam in just a few minutes.
