I’m literally sleeping better, with an overlooked luxury we should all invest in – Sunday Citizen bedding review

We spend about a third of our lives in bed.

Allowing that to sink in, I’m actually taken aback I haven’t made the comparably modest investment in luxury bedding much much sooner.

Consider the value of a better sleeping experience–one you actually look forward to at the end of the day rather than just another element of life’s necessities.

That’s the difference Sunday Citizen bedding made in my life.

I felt the difference immediately. That deep sinking in feeling my body had been craving since my last 5-star escape (It’s been far too long). The first night of sleep–honestly like a mini slice of paradise. I slept like a baby, wrapped in silky-soft sheets buried beneath a fluffy comforter with the AC pumping.

It felt like a stay at a luxury resort.

Deepening my amusement, after making the mental comparison, I discovered Sunday Citizen bedding was ironically born to create just that experience. A story that started with a 4th generation textile family and an entrepreneur hoping to develop a blanket for his luxury hotels.

In this Sunday Citizen review, I’ll be sharing my personal experience after spending 3 weeks wrapped in their bamboo viscose sheets and snug stitch comforter.

When Sunday Citizen reached out, I so happened to be in the market for some new bedding (My $20 Amazon sheets just weren’t cutting it). I had more recently “invested” in some known brand sheets thinking I was getting something a bit more elevated, but was disappointed when they didn’t feel much better, and started looking dingy and pilling from normal everyday wear.

All that to say, it was worth trying something different, and Sunday Citizen sounded like an interesting company to get cozy with.

3 weeks later–I’ll never go back to ordinary bedding. Sunday Citizen was superior in every way, and well worth the investment.

First, here’s what you can expect from the brand. Sunday Citizen promotes affordable luxury with high quality materials sold direct to consumer. As with all DTC models, that keeps the operation lean and more affordable for better quality products.

But what really makes Sunday Citizen stand out? The fabrics. Perfectly put, “not all fabrics are created equal”.  – Sunday Citizen

Sunday Citizen makes their own fabric blends. Yeah, that’s radical.

Working directly with the manufacturers to weave up a unique blend, Sunday Citizen has mastered that soft luxury feel you crave when slipping into a freshly made bed.

They’re also conscious of their impact on the environment, using recycled PET bottles in their comforter filling and shipping in recycled boxes.

Ready to sink in? Here’s the scoop on Sunday Citizen sheets.

A must-have for every home in 2022, Sunday Citizen sheets are the ultimate luxury hotel sleeping experience brought into your home.

A mix of bamboo viscose, the texture is smooth and soft and hasn’t pilled or stretched out after its first couple of washes. They have that nice cool feel to the touch when you first slip in, and stay super breathable all night long. They have a variety of muted earth tones available. My selects – the fitted sheet in white and top sheet in a buttermilk accent.

Want to get cozy? The snug stitch comforter is the plushy soft yet cool comforter you didn’t know you couldn’t live without. (Seriously, I don’t know how we lived without it).

On one side, you have this almost sherpa-like, fluffy fleece. The other, a smooth and cool sheet-like feel. Sunday Citizen’s duo-surface comforters make a great all-season select, with a cozy contemporary design that suits every home decor.

Perfectly cool, yet warm and cozy. How is that even possible.

Positive this is my husband’s favorite editorial sample of all time, and the remainder of our master bedroom linens and blankets have since gone into storage.

Do yourself a favor and get the snug sham set too. Same duo-material, great for temperature sensitive sleepers and all who dream to be incomparably comfortable.

But don’t just take my word for it. Vogue calls Sunday Citizen one of the best places to buy bedding, and other editors rave of the snuggliest blankets, throws and beyond.

Ready to get a better nights sleep? I sure was. And thanks to Sunday Citizen, I’ve never had a better nights sleep from home. And for this new mother of one, it’s never been more worth it. (Baby approved). Seriously, go check them out.

In accordance with the FTC regulations for Influencers, items in this post were gifted by Sunday Citizen.
