the current shape of things

Shaping up to be another beautiful week. Have a few new big projects coming up that I can’t wait to share with you all. Also had a bit of excitement in the office with the launching of our newest brand, Naked Feet. (or am I just excited because we got to drink champagne during working hours… hmm…) Only kidding (sort of), but for real – it was a well deserved few moments of celebration time for all the hard work our team has put into making this happen so yay!… alternate read: working nights til 2:00am, cold pizza for breakfast, enough stress to pop few new greys, and finally one flippin glass of bubbly to ease the pain. *cough cough We’ll be launching to the public in Spring 2016, so be sure to stay tuned! In the mean time, I’ll be slipping you sneak peeks from the shoot like these. photography:KUNDAN KUMAR | camera:CANON 5D MARK III | blouse:FOREVER21 | culottes:FOREVER21 | shoes:NAKED FEET | bucket bag c/o:MS. And where was it hiding, no other than T.J. Maxx. Yes I’m a bit obsessed with that place, and this particular shopping trip really broke the bank. But how could one resist. This Geianni Feraud masterpiece was a fraction of the original price (I’m getting shaky just thinking about it). The find would have been the highlight of my week, other than the fact I finally got to take a long fall drive to do nothing but admire the season. Photographed every inch of this earth from point A to point B on the mini trip. The rest of it – a mixed pot from the good to very good. Bargain pieces include …

bad siding

I know, I know – the location for these photos is terrible. But that’s just where I happened to be, and had to post because I’m in love with this new sweater. It continues to be a rainy and dark week (daylight savings, usually I despise you – but I’m ready for you to show up any day now). Weather may be most universally wardrobe defining influences – sweaters and baggy jeans here we all come. And do pardon my lazy hair day. photography: KUNDAN KUMAR | camera:CANNON 5D MARK III | sweater:SIONI | jeans:LEVI’S | boots:BACIO61
