During the transitional months, layers are critical to get you through the drastic climate changes of the day. As such, they’re my first grab off the shelves and out of the wardrobe. Designer Denise Focil launched the brand from a single focus – making the most perfect leather jacket. Her great attention to detail, exquisite Italian leather and luxury quality materials is evident in the line.

There’s nothing quite like the touch of supple leather to the skin. As the core of their brand, it was no surprise that the quality of AS by DF leather jackets was exquisite. My selection was a blush suede blazer. It’s a timeless silhouette in a beautiful pale pink suede leather.

Sensual and soft, the grey cotton lining also makes the blazer a versatile staple. Roll the sleeves up for a more casual look, or leave them down for office wear.

The craftsmanship is excellent, which can be seen in the smoothness of the stitching, lining, and every aspect of the details. My eyes have also been glued to a few of their classic motto jackets, peppered with unique pastel shades you just can’t find anywhere else.

How to wear AS by DF

While the sun is still out, I’ve layered my AS by DF leather jacket and tie-dye blouse with neutral biker shorts. It’s cool, comfortable, and a fun way to wear their pieces in a more casual way.
