Staring into the blushing skyline as the sun begins to rise, taking that first sip of something warm on a cold day, having 5 minutes to do absolutely nothing… what helps you to slip into sweet serenity? At the beginning of this year, I set out to achieve a simple goal, but one that can be impossible for some people to find – happiness. And with a corner smile, I left the pursuit of what some people consider the pathway to happiness – money, success, titles. Instead, it was time to cut the chase.

Since then, I’ve found that it’s the simplest things in life that bring happiness.

A sunny day when the forecast calls for rain, someone who remembers exactly how you take your coffee, a reunion with a friend you haven’t seen in weeks. Happiness comes in all forms, what’s important is that you take the time to appreciate those sweet moments of serenity.

Working with people you enjoy? That’s an easy way to achieve happiness. I’ve been working with Simple Retro for a few months now, and I must say – it’s so pleasant to be in touch. This wrap dress is from their latest collection, and another reminder to take a moment to smile. The texture is incredible, and I’ve found it to be one of the more versatile pieces in my wardrobe. It can be worn as a dress, a lightweight jacket, or my favorite – a lounging robe for lazy, happy days.
