Days are getting longer and the earth is beginning to tease with expressions of spring. I’ve spotted a few early adopters in form of budding branches this week. Those cheeky devils.
Not quite the time to change out wardrobes yet, but it’s enough to give a girl the itch. I’ve been on the same pace as the buds, pushing my limits and reaching for the lighter half hanging in my closet in shades of whites, nudes, blush, and greys. If you’re with me on the coordi set crush prepare to fall in love. This 2 piece set from lamoda101 is my pre-spring satisfaction in barely blush and piping trim.
Work from home alternate weeks has allowed me to express more of my more casual side (read lounge wear) that is comfort creating and excursion acceptable when paired with the right accessories. The trick to pulling off monochrome coordi sets is definitely in the details. The interest of some contrasting pieces and pumps has the power to transform basic essential into daytime chic. Namely sexy silver sets from Fawnxfern, roll clutch and timepiece in jet black are the edge to an otherwise blushing neutral.
And though monochrome in nudes, blush, and black is my forever love, the affair of an occasional color splash gives me a bit of a rush. Finlay & Co. just launched this new line of wood-frame sunnies with sea blue lenses – I couldn’t resist the temptation.
More coordi sets to come soon (actually that may be all you see for the next several weeks). There’s some kind of power that comes with a strong 2 piece set and I’ve found my shopping habits wielding to it’s charms with no restraints. Some teaser previews on Instagram for all of you early adapters this week. Stay beautiful.
Omggg stop being so gorgeous Kris! Wish I could look like you! Love the entire outfit! Blush looks super chic on you and you always get the best gifts! Those wood frame sunnies are amazing! :) xoxo Vivian

I’m definitely usually a strict monochrome person, but I love the look of the blush tones for Spring! You dressed this two piece set up perfectly with the black details — looking stunning as always, Kristina.
