Snowed in on the east coast, and loving every moment of it. These moments of ordinary life are ones you can appreciate all of the simple things in life… namely a hot salt bath and a bottle of red wine #bringonthesnow
Being house-bound also means I’ll be spending another week working from home, and saving NYC for the first week of Feb. Just ordered my home office supplies (goodbye bank account) – at least I’ll be graduating from the kitchen table soon. Will be sure to share photos as soon as it’s up. Planning to swap around arrangements every couple of weeks or so to keep the setting fresh. Getting things organized has also prompted cleaning out the closet (yet again) and getting back to basics. I’ve been living in skinnies and knits this week. Any other minimalists out there adding beige to their monochrome wardrobe? Something about the fleshy tone makes me feel nearly as good as nude.
Another perk of natural tones, they seem to make give some kind of illusion of tanness… much needed during this temporary permafrost in my backyard. This piece from VIDEO is now my favorite knit. Plus it’s made in Greece… how cool is that. They’ve got a great capsule collection available online, it took me a while to settle on this piece over a couple of their greys. But in the end, the choice was right.
Ring bling is from Rue Gembon. They totally spoiled me with a collection of goodies. These two gunmetal pieces are my favorites. Also wearing a dainty cross chain from them which is barely visible in these photos (or maybe the wine is affecting my vision) My habit is heavy hand jewels, minimal and feminine elsewhere.
Artistic expressions being made with wood sunnies from Finlay & Co. The detailed inlay is subtle but truly brilliant. It’s all in the details babes, and these hunnies hold the secret to a soundless exclamation. Contrasting my timepiece today for a pop of white. This one from Harper & Brooks. Will be doing a giveaway with them on my Instagam next week, so be sure to check it out and stay in touch.
Also rockin another perfect fitting pair of CA skinnies from my favorite denim resource Parker Smith. I don’t know if it’s the fact that they’re made in the US, or that they just make my a$$ look amazing. Either way, I’m hooked. Polished off with a pair of ultra low western booties from Public Desire. The buckle is to die for. I need a belt to match. That is all.
Not much else on the mind today. Currently listening to an EP dance mix on Spotify (completely contrasting the mood of this ensemble). At any rate, it’s over-taking my mood and I’m going to go dance in my bedroom. #dontjudge Bye for now.
Great shots and outfits as always. I’m doing the same at home. Great weekend to clean out, relax, plan ahead and drink some wine.
Cheers!

Really obsessed with camel these past weeks! Although I haven’t already managed to complete a proper research for a huge-cosy-warm one…wearing my light under blacks and greys! Yours is truly beautiful though! And your shoes details, so so nice! Have a great weekend dear:)

In Winter, I live in skinnies and knit almost every day, haha ;P Beige suits you really well! Love the contrast with the black skinnies. Actually thought about adding some beige or rose pieces to my minimalist wardrobe at least in spring.
Have a wonderful Monday,
