sunny days should be casual

Continuing to enjoy unseasonably warm as rays of sunshine spill into the eastern US. My coffee pot has never felt so neglected, and my margarita blender so overused X)

Just wrapped up week two at the new job, and my happy-glow is still on full beam. Everyone should have the opportunity to wake up with a smile, and be able to carry it throughout the rest of the day til you land back in bed. Predicting the year 2016 to be the best of many. Lifesong playlist on repeat, and I don’t want to turn it off. And with sunny days and spirits, I’ve been keeping it relaxed and casual to match the mood. Recently joined hands with A’Gaci for a series of collaborations, so excited to be sharing their collection with you. First on the list is this fray denim, white-out weekday casual wear. Skinnies and a blouse are a go-to when weather permits and I don’t feel like over-thinking my attire. Bonus points for monochrome (that’s even easier). And when it’s cold, I pretty much just swap out the heels for boots, add a jacket, and call it a day. #agacigirl

Lot’s of other details worth mentioning. Just received this matte black timepiece from The Fifth (no my second from their collection) clearly I have an addition. I lined up all my watches this week… let’s just say my condition probably requires medication.

Oh and hey, check out my new sunnies. If you look at some of the side-view shots you can see my favorite part… It has a small black-marble detailing on each side. I know… you love them 10X more now. Westward Leaning, you did it right my friends, quite right. Key-whole necklace and ring from Cradle Jewelry. Speaking of awesome (yes of course we’re talking about awesome… what do you think we’ve been doing here this whole time??) these pieces are total gems, with an inspiration being drawn from symbols of ancient writings. I feel like I should wrap them in scarlet velvet and store them in a golden treasure chest between wears… if only I had a golden treasure chest.

Going out on the night for an engagement celebration of two ridiculously awesome friends, so may the champi flow freely. I promise to have an extra glass for each of you (oh the things I do for my friends ;) Have an insanely good weekend doves.

    Amazing monochrome ready-to-go casual outfit! See-through blouse, calf-lenght cropped skinnies, and heeled sandals are always perfect! I don’t agree though with what you said then about cold days, swapping out the heels for boots and adding a jacket, because it surely would be cozier for you but you would lose all the shiny effect! Always remember that no pain, no gain! Rather I would have worn a silver anklet too, to embellish and make even more cool the whole look!

    Super great post! made me smile! and there is a little sun out here too! Love the sandals and the watch – have mentioned it before, when u were wearing the 1st one u have from them. And the sunnies are amazing, saw a new collab between Olivia Palermo and Westward, truly cool. wish I could get my hands on a pair :)
