Enjoyed a bit of unorthodox leisure time last week. Between checking off some of those dusty to-do’s and enjoying a couple evenings over a glass of wine (and by a glass, yes… I do mean bottle), I was also also able to catch the flick Kingsman. Antiquated as the concept may be, I can’t get enough of the gentleman = lethal spy plot. Guys, in case you haven’t figured it out yet – suits are to women, as lingerie is to men. We find it attractive when you at least look like you’ve got your sh** together. And really, if you can’t bear to get out of your stained collage T and torn jeans on occasion, just bear this in mind: you don’t wear it, neither will we. #yourenotthebossofme #unlessyoulooklikeone

Something about leather pants aways does it for me. Look out world. Today has just begun.

I tend to be a very tactile person. I have to see, touch, and feel something to really understand it. That’s probably why materials are one of my biggest priorities when shopping for new pieces. The textures brushing on your skin totally set the mood. Don’t think so? Try sleeping on a pillowcase made of sandpaper. On the top of the list for this fall: supple leather, cozy knits, and luxury silk. This silk scarf is from Vevelle. It’s been a bit of an adventure playing with new ways to pair this beauty into my wardrobe. Note to self: that cute tie-as-a-shirt thing you saw on Pinterest…. it’s not for you. #wardrobemalfunction

    I love everything about this post! I’m also tactile, and fabrics win when they’re soft and rare in texture. And the phone case… how could anyone ever be tired of marble? I am in love 100%

    Kingsman is such a good movie even the whole heads exploding part at the end haha. I love a good suit too, I believe Barney called it the Suit Effect on HIMYM. Great post, love the gold bangle, I like how its not overly shiny and more industrial if that makes sense.
